This summer, give your 10 -12 year old the opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a fun, engaging environment! Our one-week camp blends interactive games, creativity, art, movement, and teamwork to help kids develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and strong character—all while making new friends. Plus, a special nature immersion day on Friday will help campers connect with the outdoors and apply what they've learned.

Ty Wescott
Ty has been empowering youth for a decade, bringing his unique blend of connection and fun to help young people build confidence and resilience. With three years as a youth leadership coach and seven years as a classroom teacher, he has fine-tuned his ability to create meaningful activities that help students connect with their emotions, strengths, and each other. Passionate about character education, Ty is dedicated to equipping students with the tools they need to thrive in an unpredictable world.
He is excited to embark on this journey at Camp Soul Strong, recognizing the vital role that social and emotional learning plays as young people navigate adolescence. He can’t wait to connect with your kiddo and show them what it means to be SOUL STRONG!

Nate Probert
Nate is a dedicated leadership coach, mentor, and educator with over 12 years of experience empowering youth through social-emotional learning. As a yoga practitioner and advocate for youth, he is passionate about helping children understand their energy, emotions, and true nature. At Soul Strong, Nate will embody the daily themes, weaving compassion, presence, and connection into every interaction. With a deep love for music, art, nature, and storytelling, he creates an environment where kids feel seen, heard, and encouraged to express themselves fully. Whether guiding meaningful conversations, leading engaging activities, or playing guitar around the campfire, Nate is committed to fostering self-awareness and inner strength in every child. Excited to be part of a team devoted to uplifting youth, he looks forward to inspiring a camp experience filled with growth, joy, and connection.

Shayla Thompson
With a diverse background in education and holistic health, Shayla brings a passion for offering quality, integrative experiences for youth. She has designed summer camps and leadership programs. Many years were spent private tutoring and mentoring youth through various afterschool programs such as Big Brothers Big Sisters. Currently, she offers classes on meditation, movement, and nervous system regulation to the public in Utah. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine she brings a unique mind-body approach to her work. She is excited to collaborate on this enriching summer camp we call - Soul Strong.
